A multi bud vase solves the problem of short stems, which otherwise vanish inside anything tall enough to be worth looking at. The Caterpillar vase is a run of joined glass spheres sharing one base. Connected bud vases also enforce their own spacing, so ten stems stay evenly apart instead of collapsing into a bunch at the middle.
