LESLEY HENDERSON
Lesley Henderson is an accomplished abstract artist, who lives in Spring Hill, Tennessee. Lesley began her artistic endeavors while living in the New Orleans area over the past 20 years. She specializes in creating abstract, contemporary paintings.
“I have always been drawn to the freedom and expressiveness that abstract art allows, and it has become my passion over the years. When it comes to my painting technique, I like to experiment with different materials and tools to create unique textures and patterns. I am constantly exploring new ways to manipulate the paint and create interesting layers and shapes using ink, acrylics, glazes, oil pastels and graphite.
For me, painting is a way to express my emotions and connect with the world around me. I hope that my art can inspire others to see the beauty in the chaos of life, and embrace their own creativity.”
Lesley’s art was first featured and sold through Julie Neill Designs in New Orleans. She expanded to The French Mix, and many other interior home design stores, stretching from Lafayette to Mississippi and the Gulf Coast. She has been married to husband Kirk for 36 years, and together, they have three adult children and a grandson.
