Angela Howell
Angela Howell is an avid abstract painter known for a variety of styles, from soothing textural pieces to bold expressions of marks and shapes. Suggestions of water, land, city and sky also show up on her easel, as influenced by her love of nature and travel. Angela paints in acrylics, intuitively layering and rotating the canvas, allowing inspiration and happy accidents to guide her. Angela’s approach to abstract painting parallels her life philosophy: gifts are found when eyes are open. Angela’s paintings are held in private collections throughout the United States.
Available and welcoming of commissions, Angela loves creating work for a client or designer, capturing not only the desired style and colors, but also the exact right vibe for the space it will fill. Howell currently resides in Hendersonville, TN with her husband and a few cats.
